Two Area High Schools Named to America's 2009 Best High Schools List

Springfield's Central and Parkview high schools have been named to U.S. News and World Report's America's 2009 Best High Schools list.

This is the third consecutive year that Central has been recognized by the report and this year, it was named a Silver Medal School among only six other high schools in the state. The previous two years CHS has been given the bronze medal. Parkview earned a Bronze Medal School for the second straight year and was among 38 other high schools in the state to receive the bronze award.
