Milken Institute Names Springfield in the Top 50 for Best Performing Cities

Springfield is first among Missouri cities for the fourth year for creating and sustaining jobs and economic growth. According to the 2008 “Best Performing Cities” index compiled by The Milken Institute/Greenstreet Real Estate Partners, Springfield, Missouri ranked 42 overall on the list of the 200 largest metro cities.
