ACCOLADES FOR SPRINGFIELD AREA REINFORCE THAT EVERYWHERE SHOULD

Springfield has been recognized by
National Geographic Adventure as one of the top 50 adventure towns
in the country. The September issue of the magazine cited our city’s
proximity to some of the Midwest’s best floating streams and the
presence of six universities as contributing factors to
Springfield’s placement on the “Top 50 Best Places to Live & Play”
list.
This distinction is another in a growing string of recent quality of
life accolades attached to our region. |

Expansion Management’s 2007 list of mid-size metros with what
the publication calls “5-Star Quality of Life.” |

A recent ranking by Worldwide ERC
placed Springfield in the top
