Earlier this summer Expansion Management (a national economic
development trade publication) awarded Springfield with its highest
designation for quality of life. The "5-Star" rating placed
Springfield in an elite group of all U.S. metro areas by ranking
everything from education to traffic to crime. In addition to the
five stars the index confirmed the Springfield region is a great
place to live by ranking it No. 1 in housing affordability.
Showing it's a great place to do
business, Springfield also received a "4-Star" rating for being a
logistics friendly city in the September edition of Expansion
Management. The "Logistics Quotient" focused on workforce,
transportation networks, business costs and rail, port and air cargo
availability.
Expansion Management's circulation includes more than 45,000 top-level
