UTILITY COSTS IN
SPRINGFIELD AMONG NATION'S LOWEST |
|
Businesses in Springfield enjoy utility
costs that are among the lowest in the nation, according to a survey
just released by ACCRA, an independent economic development research
group. Springfield's utility costs are 74 percent of the national
average.
Only two cities, Wenatchee, Wash., and Minot, N.D., reported lower
electric, gas and telephone rates than Springfield. A total of
295 metro areas were surveyed for the second quarter Cost Of Living
Index prepared by ACCRA . |
