UNITED RESPONDS TO
SPRINGFIELD'S AIR TRAVEL NEEDS |
|
Business travelers headed to Chicago now have another flight to
choose from beginning June 12th. United Airlines has announced that
it is adding a fifth flight from Springfield-Branson Regional
Airport to the nation’s third largest city.
The additional jet service is a result of high numbers on United’s
other flights out of Springfield. The airline reports that in May,
more than 9,200 travelers boarded United jets, the highest number of
passengers in one month in United's history in Springfield.
Last year, almost 150,000 passengers departed Springfield on United
Express flights to Chicago and Denver. |
