- HOUSING SALES INCREASE STEADILY OVER LAST YEAR -

Housing sales for the first half of 2001 show a growing increase over 2000 sales for the same period.

The source of the data is the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors and the geography associated with the data is all of the GSBOR's service area which can include up to a 30 or 40 mile radius of Springfield.  (The radius will become shorter as it approaches other areas of significant size, i.e. Branson, Joplin, Lebanon, etc.)
